Blog Post of the Day:
What is the importance of research? Why do you need to know how to research? What have you learned in high school about researching topics and finding quality resources? Have you had a helpful teacher that has taught you to research? Explain.

Doing research basically reassures you that you're doing it right. If you do research, you have a thousand other people on the internet saying you did it correctly, and, chances are, they're right. Throughout life, you'll have to research a variety of different things all the time, hence why you should know how to research, even if most of the stuff you research will ultimately be useless to you.
I've been in highschool for about three weeks, and, as you can assume, have learned very little so far. (I already want to graduate. These next four years have better go by in a flash.) Teachers, in general, are not my favorite people. Even if there was one down the line who taught me something of importance, I don't remember them at all. They probably weren't a big part of my life anyway.
Then again, I, in general, hate everyone. So it's nothing personal.
