11/5/14

Blog Post of the Day:
Tell me about your idea for your 5 frame story board. What is the plot? How do you plan to make the story creative? Who's the main character? What is the beginning, middle and end? Tell me about your plan of attack.

The story begins with a medium shot of our hero's distraught features. He appears to be staring up with sad, mournful eyes, and our hearts begin to tremble against the resulting onslaught of emotions. Just looking at the one first frame portrays immense feeling. In the second frame, we quickly realize the root of our hero's troubles; his food bowl is empty. Oh, no! Poor, poor hero, so hungry, but yet so strong, even in the face of an empty food bowl.
In the third frame, we're given a side shot of our hero. Yet, he looks annoyed, and almost angry... His morals seem to be deteriorating against the pressure. His expression screams aggression and impatience. Understandable, under our hero's circumstances. However, do not fret. Despite the situation, we see in the fourth frame that our hero has succeeded; food has appeared in his bowl! Amazing!
Our hearts warm under the vintage of our great hero finally receiving his due. He eats the food with a dignity we could never achieve.

And that's the plot! But I plan to make the lighting dimmer and darker with dull colors in the beginning, and as the plot resolves itself, the lights and saturation will grow. In short, it's a funeral with rain, and then a wedding with sunshine.
